Obsidian
Obsidian is my document-centric Personal Knowledge Management (PKM) tool. I use it to organize notes as plain Markdown files in a local directory (a “vault”).
Its folder-and-file model is highly generic, which makes it extremely flexible, particularly when combined with community plugins. However, the plugin ecosystem can sometimes be fragile or outdated compared to Obsidian’s core updates.
I wrote about my experience migrating notes to Obsidian and resolving structure mismatches in my post: Finding My Perfect PKM Fit: The Journey from Logseq to Obsidian.
