When you’re drowned in work, the last thing you want is for your Docker runtime to hog all your system resources. OrbStack is my Docker runtime of choice now.

It’s fast, incredibly lightweight, and just gets out of the way. I’m not saying the alternatives are bad; it’s just that OrbStack makes managing containers feel completely frictionless. What do you know, it actually works without turning my laptop into a space heater.
