Nextcloud

Nextcloud is the cornerstone of my self-hosted “office” suite. I run it on my Lenovo M710t NAS via TrueNAS.

I use it most of the time for file synchronization, contacts, and calendar management. It’s also my primary tool for sharing files with others. To make it accessible from anywhere, I’ve used Cloudflared to set up a Cloudflare Tunnel, forwarding my domain directly to my homelab.

It’s essentially my personal Dropbox/Google Drive/iCloud replacement. Having all my data synced and shareable while remaining on my own hardware is exactly what I wanted from my home lab setup.
