Jellyfin

Jellyfin is my go-to for streaming my personal media collection. It runs on my TrueNAS server and serves up movies and shows to all the devices in my house.

Unlike some other media servers, Jellyfin is completely open-source and doesn’t gate features behind a subscription. It’s reliable, handles transcoding well enough on my Lenovo M710t, and provides a great user interface for my library.
