PHP-FIG and PSR's

PHP has a vast and rich history. It has evolved from a personal tool to build web pages to an enterprise level offering with multiple frameworks, content management systems, applications, products, and tools. Yet, PHP has a fragmented ecosystem which made it an unattractive option for a modern developer.

PHP-FIG is designed to solve this problem by encouraging communication and interoperabilitt between PHP projects. In this presentation, we will take a brief look at PHP-FIG and its evolution to its third iteration. We will especially discuss PSRs and how they can be used with WordPress or just about any PHP code.
